Hi,

5 g H( f% a# V: ?+ \: q
I help administer a 20 node server farm. I have a user who cannot launch any applications via either Program Neighborhood or NFuze. Each time he tries to connect to an application, he receives:

& z( H, E( \+ u
Error in connection. [Error 1043: Invalid Parameter]
5 n6 D9 U. g( G( Q1 L* \" w

I tried to remove his license and have it regenerated (a new license was obtained). I tried to make him a local administrator, removed his server profile, reconfigured his application set manager and tried applications on different servers in the farm. No luck with any of these.
* y! x7 ^* H5 K0 C' S% x

He can launch applications without a problem on other machines.

Sounds like an isolated case related to the one user's configuration.

First thing, have you reinstalled the ICA client (removing all settings in his local pc's profile)?? since its only the one machine this is what you should be trying next.
: Q. j! R- w5 I" e( D& I9 [

if unsuccessful are you using SSO? if so is it possible that machine has an alternate gina installed (ie novell client, or some other logon agent)? I have had a similar problem using SSO on machines with the Novell client installed (but not installed on the Citrix servers)
/ a8 N0 ~; f3 ~4 f% c5 b4 |/ u: `

or an alternative solution could be trying this (if you don't need SmartCard functionality…)

# A0 w" D) }2 w( H4 E
1) Locate the MODULE.INI file in C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client directory (or …\icaweb32 directory)

2) Open MODULE.INI file with notepad and go to [ICA 3.0] section

3) Look for 芒鈧?揤irtualDriver =芒鈧??entry

4) Remove the word 芒鈧?揝martcard芒鈧??then save the file.

5) Restart the system.
|
